Danny Safadi
Chapter President, 2025
Welcome to the official website of Delta Sigma Pi, Xi Chapter!
My name is Danny Safadi and I am the 2025 President of Delta Sigma Pi’s Xi Chapter here at the University of Michigan. We are a professional business fraternity affiliated with the Ross School of Business. We pride ourselves on not only our academic and professional excellence but also on our strong, family-like culture. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and I encourage you to browse around to learn more about our chapter.
DSP has been a transformative part of my college experience. After joining my freshman year, I was immediately immersed in a community that accepted me with open arms. As someone who did not know many people coming to Ross, it gave me a chance to meet over 100 students all with a shared interest as me, but with unique, individual backgrounds. And since joining this community, I’ve grown tremendously. A lot of my favorite memories in college are courtesy of DSP. Whether it’s seeing a brother around campus, studying together for exams, playing intramural sports together, or going on brotherhood trips, it truly is a space where I can be my authentic self. I am so grateful that I found such a welcoming and supportive environment early on in my college career.
What makes DSP unique in comparison to other business frats is that we are comprised entirely of business students at the Ross School of Business. This shared experience allows us to build upon our academic and professional goals while celebrating our unique individualities. I always enjoy seeing brothers inside of Ross and taking the time to speak with them between classes. I love having this community that makes me feel accepted and supported despite Ross's fast-paced, competitive nature. And at such a large university, the community makes it feel smaller and more like home. No matter where I go on campus, I know I will run into a brother who will absolutely brighten my day.
Our chapter dates back over 100 years, with a continued emphasis on professional development. Any brother is more than willing to help you achieve your professional goals. With representation in a wide range of industries, including non-traditional routes, DSP prepares you well for your unique professional journey. We host career panels, networking events, and workshops to best prepare you in your desired field. Our vast alumni network stretches across the entire country in numerous fields, and they are eager to help out as well. My personal experience is that everybody in DSP is willing to go the extra mile to help you achieve your goals. Countless times brothers have set aside everything to help me out for hours straight. I am endlessly grateful for this group of people who want nothing more than to see me succeed in my professional endeavors.

The brothers of DSP are extremely involved both on campus and in the Ann Arbor community. While we are an all-Ross organization, brothers are active members in many clubs inside and outside of Ross. Whether you’re looking to join a club at Ross or explore your hobbies elsewhere, chances are a DSP brother will have a similar experience to guide you along the process. I am grateful every day that I am surrounded by such motivated, ambitious, and diverse leaders. Our diversity as an organization shines through not only our involvement but our representation as well. Each brother comes with a unique background and story to share. I’ve learned a ton just from having conversations with brothers. And despite our differences, we all come together and celebrate our diversity. This is what makes DSP special.

This organization has meant a lot to me ever since I joined freshman year. Through all the ups and downs, the brothers of DSP have stuck by my side. Because of DSP, I am equipped with all the tools necessary to succeed in my academic and professional goals. But most importantly, I have so many people in this organization who are more than friends, they are family. I hope you can feel this sense of community as you attend our events and speak with DSP brothers.
